The Minnesota Fireworks Coalition was formed to monitor and inform interested parties of impending legislation affecting fireworks (namely Consumer Fireworks, 1.4g) in the state of Minnesota. Our main focus is:
- Protect the current class of legal fireworks in Minnesota, i.e. watch the legislature for anti-fireworks bills that would restrict currently legal fireworks.
- Work towards legalizing all Consumer Grade fireworks (1.4g) in Minnesota.
Our goal is to keep fireworks enthusiasts informed of all action that is happening at the state legislature regarding fireworks. The "legislative update" tab will have up to date information from the legislature and information deemed critical, better known as "action alerts" (committee hearings and requests to contact legislators) will be emailed out to people who register their email address for these alerts.
Organization is KEY to successfully advancing pro-fireworks legislation!!
